The MCU update page says only update if the model is H-L or H-H. Is it fine to use on H-M?
You can search for the H-M series
There is no MCU update for H-M. When I search for it the only ones that appear are H-L, H-H, and H-XXXX no H-M. Is there a direct leak to the MCU H-M update page.
That MCU software also work for H-M series.
No the 7011 unit side cable is wrong does not fit my BMW
You may need to purchase the 6.5m wiring harness to finish the installation. You can search for such item by Amazon.
Hi there! Update went great, thanks a lot. Regarding the startup-Routine when a iPhone is already connected… Would it be possible to turn out the 4 screens before Carplay starts and just send the BMW logo for this time? 🙂
Sorry it doesn’t support that.
Hello, I’m experiencing audio dropouts when listening to music using Android Auto. What’s the solution to this problem?
This is a known issue. It might be caused by Google’s updating or the 5GHz base stations at your local. Please kindly try these available solutions. Some customers solved the same issue with one of these solutions.
1, Disable the “WiFi Calling” in the phone settings, then reboot the phone.
2, Disable the “Search for the nearby WiFi” in the phone settings, then reboot the phone.
3, Delete the cache and the storage of the Google Map, Android Auto and Google Play Service. Then reboot the phone.
4, Touch the Settings-Bluetooth devices-The Bluetooth name of the radio, then disable the “Media Audio”. Then reboot the phone.
5, Enable and go into developer options on the phone. Scroll until the bluetooth AVRCP version and select AVRCP 1.4. If no improvement, select AVRCP 1.3.
